Email Alias Activation/Change
About the email alias service The email alias service enables you to have an email address that reflects your professional association by giving you the "@personalchef.com" extension. By using your email alias address on marketing materials, you do not incur repeated reprinting costs in the event your email address changes in the future or repeated efforts of changing email addresses on your website if you have one. Your email address is not hosted by the APCA - any emails received under your alias address will be immediately and automatically forwarded to your existing POP3 email account from your existing internet email provider. This way members can be assured that your emails are 100% secure from intrusion by your association. To activate your email alias, or to change your alias information, please use the form below only. So, yourbizname@personalchef.com is forwarded automatically to youremailaddress@aol.com or "@whatever.com." In more definitive terms, email aliases are used to associate an email address recipient name (regardless of the domain name) to an alternate address such as a user account, offsite address, or another alias. It is basically email forwarding from one email address to another. You don't have to do anything but let your client and friends know your business email address. This personalchef.com email alias allows you to demonstrate your affiliation with a national professional association. This is not a full POP3 account and will not allow you to store or send email from the PersonalChef dot Com server. It will allow you to use a chosen username (i.e. chefcandy) with the domain of personalchef.com. It will look similar to Candy Wallace's email address: info@personalchef.com or mybizname@personalchef.com Usernames will be assigned on a first come, first served basis. Please address your comments and questions to memberservices@personalchef.com. Once your new email alias is ready, member services will send you an email message.
