Nobody Cooks Like Ruth: Menus from Cherotree
In 1979, the author opened a "reservations only" restaurant in her country home near Nashville, Tennessee. This is a highly personal account of how it began and what made it special, including recipes for food that earned Cherotree immediate critical and popular success.
Ruth's culinary background includes writing and producing food commercials, publishing a recipe newsletter, teaching cooking classes and catering, as well as restaurant ownership. She is a member of the American Personal Chef Association, and operates her business, Chiffonade, near Philadelphia. Ruth is presently at work writing her second cookbook, which will contain recipes from catering, classes, gourmet clubs and celebrations.
